Kathryn is 13 years old and currently lives in the Bay Area of California. She has performed in many musicals and has appeared in professional productions with companies such as American Musical Theatre of San Jose and TheatreWorks. Some of her favorite roles include Baby Louise in "Gypsy" (American Musical Theatre), Young Allana in the New Works production of "Writing Arthur" (TheatreWorks), Tina Denmark in "Ruthless! The Musical" and Kendra in 13, a new musical staged reading/workshop (New York). Kathryn also enjoys performing in the annual "Divas for Life Concert" to benefit cancer.
In addition to musical theater, Kathryn enjoys dancing, and continues training in jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop.
Kathryn's love for the stage, started at an early age. At the age of 5, she would entertain her family by creating shows that included singing, acting and dancing. Because of her interest in performing, Kathryn's grandparents took her to see "Fiddler on the Roof" which was her first exposure to musical theater. This experience solidified her love of performing and put her on her current path. She begged her parents to let her be in a show. They agreed and at the age of 9, she auditioned for her first show with a local youth musical theatre group which led to her being cast as JoJo in "Seussical the Musical". She has not stopped since!
Kathryn has three younger siblings that love to sing and perform with her. When she is not on stage, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves writing, photography, and playing volleyball in her spare time. Kathryn is thankful for her family's support, sacrifice, and love in helping her fulfill her dream.
